Hancock Co., Georgia Deer Camp
Circle C Properties
About This Camp
The Hancock County Deer Camp began the weekend of Nov. 17-19, 2022 with host Ted and Tammy Callaway on their family property, Circle C Properties.
The Callaway family got involved with a 30-30 Ministries after learning about it through their friends, Jamie & Christie Key. A breakfast meeting with 30-30 Ministries’ Director Brad Gill and the Keys on Sept. 16, 2021 planted the seed and provided confirmation to Ted and Tammy that they were being led to use their newly acquired Hancock County property for a youth Deer Camp where the Gospel would be shared.
Camp Managers
Chuck Hester & Brad Gill
Both 30-30 Ministries’ Director Brad Gill and Board Member Chuck Hester are usually on the road at different Camps. However, in light of Proverbs 27:17 that reads, “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another,” they enjoy spending time in Camp a few times a year when the schedule allows.
Brad founded 30-30 Ministries in September 2010, but the very first Camp occurred 11 months later in Twiggs County on the weekend of Aug. 26-28, 2011. Chuck, who barely knew Brad at the time, also attended the very first 30-30 Ministries’ Camp and now attends eight to 10 Camps each calendar year.
Brad attends Crossroads Baptist Church in Eatonton, Ga and surrendered his life to Jesus in October 2008. Chuck was saved at 22 years old in 1991 and currently attends Shiloh Baptist Church in Newborn.
