About This Camp

The Jackson County Deer Camp began the weekend of Nov. 4-6, 2016. It was hosted at Maysville Baptist Church by members of Refuge Archery. The Camp came to fruition after Maysville member Jeremy Sharpton attended a Bleckley County Turkey Camp at Ruth Baptist Church the weekend of April 8-10, 2016. As the Lord has done a number of times in 30-30 Ministries, a follower of Jesus returns home after a Camp and finds a way to get involved by hosting a Camp. After three years hosting the Deer Camp at Maysville, Jeremy and a group of members at Danielsville Evangelical Church hosted their first Camp Nov. 14-16, 2025.
