About This Camp

The Wilkinson County Hog Camp actually started in Johnson County the weekend of Dec. 16-18, 2016. It was hosted by Blaine Burley with Woods-N-Water. The next Camp took place in 2023 and was moved to a piece of Woods-N-Water property in Wilkinson County. It was hosted by Alex Porter, an employee with Woods-N-Water at the time. Alex has since taken a job with the National Wild Turkey Federation but still continues to host the Hog Camp alongside Blaine and other Woods-N-Water employees. In addition to hog hunting, the campers set a two-night trapline for raccoons and hunt for Indian artifacts on the property.
